Rider is a Brazilian footwear brand that has been present in the national market for decades and has become a true lifestyle icon. For the launch of their new flip-flops, they invited several Brazilian music artists to share their personal stories with the brand. Together with Berro Motion, I developed some of the animations for the campaign, highlighting the technology behind the new footwear.
The challenge of this project was creating the same animation in three different styles, all inspired by a Y2K aesthetic. To achieve that, I had to organize the project in a way that allowed for quick style switching, enabling us to structure, animate, and approve all three versions within just five days.
With 2.5D animations and rich environments filled with animated graphics, the final result generated strong engagement on social media and created a sense of connection with the Rider community, which holds deep roots and nostalgic memories from the 90s and 2000s.
